The Micromax A85 aka SUPERFONE which was reported to be avalable a couple of weeks ago, has now finally been launched officially by the handset vendor. The smartphone sports a 3.8-inch capacitive touch display, runs on NVIDIA’s Cortex A9 1 GHz dual-core processor and is based on Android 2.2 which is upgradable to Gingerbread. It features 512MB RAM with 8GB internal storage (extensible up to 32GB), a 5.0 MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. Micromax is talking about some unique gesture controls that will enable users to answer/reject calls, scroll through lists like contacts, gallery, music playlist, e-mails, calendars and so on. The Micromax A85 also bundles a few gaming, SNS and office applications like Polaris Office 3.0, Facebook, YouTube, Flickr and many more. The Micromax A85 SUPERFONE is priced at Rs 19,990, making it the most affordable dual-core Android smartphone in the market
