Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S gets priced in India for Rs 26,995

The Sony Ericsson XPERIA arc S which was announced two months ago at the IFA is now available for Rs 26,995 from Letsbuy, a homegrown online electronics shopping website as spotted by our friends at FoneArena. The latest successor to the XPERIA arc features a faster 1.4GHz Qualcomm Scorpion processor as compared to the 1GHz processor on its older version. However, it is still a single-core processor, which makes the smartphone a bit pricey as rivals are sporting dual-core processors at this price range. It sports a 4.2-inch LCD-backlit LCD display, runs on the Android Gingerbread OS and doesn’t incorporates a secondary camera just like its former avatar. It flaunts an 8.0MP shooter at the back with Sony’s patented image sensor tech Exmor R, an LED flash and 720p HD video recording.
